Icon Theatre is an award winning, Kent based national touring company producing innovative visual and physical theatre.

Working with diverse collaborators from different backgrounds, each of our shows generates a unique combination of theatrical techniques, blurring the boundaries between movement, text, film, dance, mask, mime, music and puppetry.

With a flair for circus skills and mask work, artistic director Nancy Hirst has also directed shows for the Young Vic, Soho Theatre, Yvonne Arnaud and Opera North. Designer Lucille Acevedo-Jones has created productions at the Riverside Studios, the Trafalgar Studios (West End) and the RSC. Icon's most recent show won a Fringe First at the Edinburgh Festival 2011.
