Icon Theatre is a UK touring company producing exciting, engaging and innovative physical theatre. Our shows use various combinations of movement, text, mask, music, puppetry and mime to tell classic and contemporary tales.

With a flair for circus skills and mask work, artistic director Nancy Hirst has also directed shows for the Young Vic, Soho Theatre, Yvonne Arnaud and Opera North. 

Designer Lucille Acevedo-Jones has created productions at the Riverside Studios, the Trafalgar Studios (West End) and the RSC.  Their last joint production won the Stephen Arlen Award from the ENO.

News - Arts Council Grant
Icon Theatre have been awarded an Arts Council Grant for research and development of the physical theatre piece 'The Shingle Dance' by Ian Miller. For more details click here.
